Management and Entrepreneurship honours students were given a glimpse of the academic journey ahead of them during a recent orientation gathering held at Westville campus recently. The aim of the information sharing session was for academics in the Discipline of Management and Entrepreneurship to equip students with knowledge which is vital for them to succeed in their studies.

Finance honours students heard from a prospective employers what to expect in the working world and how the skills they acquired at UKZN were a good start to a successful career. During his address to 60 students at an orientation day hosted by the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, Grindrod Asset Management’s Portfolio Manager, Mr Geoff Noble, shared his experiences as a Fund Manager and things he wished he knew when he was a student.
